Can I do this myself?

We get asked this all the time. I always ask the person wanting an answer “How’s that worked out for you so far?”

Normally they already know the answer to their question, but realize it’s not really the question they’re asking.

What they really want to know is, “why doesn’t this work for most people trying to do it on their own?”

Here’s the truth. People like to do things with their friends. Not just other people, but with people they like and relate to. If you have a ‘workout buddy’ and they get bored or injured or whatever, there’s a very high chance you’re gonna quit working out also.

Think about it. It would feel lonely, right?

Plus you want to be with your friends, not alone, doing something that you’re heart isn’t into.

When you join a class, especially a premium service that requires a big commitment, you really bond with the other athletes and want to stick with it.

A good example of this is the show Worlds Biggest Losers. Nobody goes on that show without paying a big price (both financially and emotionally) to get there. So when things get hard, and they always do, they have the determination to stick it out and encourage the other people on their team to keep going also.

So stop playing with your health and life and get in a committed group.
